Regions :: Eastern Europe India Imposes Antidumping Duty on Imports of Soda Ash6:53 AM MDT | July 8, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz India’s Ministry of Finance has imposed a definitive five-year antidumping duty on imports of soda ash from China, the European Union (EU), Iran, Kenya, Pakistan, Ukraine, and the U.S. The Department of Revenue said that the duty would range from $2.38/m.t. to $38.79/m.t., depending on the manufacturer and the exporting country. The move follows recommendations made in February by the Directorate General of Anti-dumping and Allied Duties (DGAD; New Delhi), a unit of the Ministry of Commerce & Industry.
