European Officials: 13 SVHCs Should No Longer Be Used

The European Chemicals Agency (ECHA; Helsinki) has submitted to the European Commission its recommendation that 13 substances of very high concern (SVHC) in future should not be used without authorization. The substances are all classified because they have been identified as carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic to reproduction.
