EU Seeks Comment on Reducing Maritime GHG Emissions

The European Commission says it has launched an online public consultation on possible measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions (GHG) from ships. Public comment is open throughl April 12. The European Union (EU) committed to reduce total greenhouse gas emissions by at least 20% across all sectors by 2020 compared with 1990 levels.
