DuPont opens seed production facility in Ukraine

DuPont says it has today opened a seed production facility at Stasi, in the Dykanka region of Poltava, Ukraine. The $40-million DuPont Pioneer production facility, together with the logistics facility built 2 years ago at Stasi, employs about 70 people to support the warehousing, distribution, and production of about 500,000 units of Pioneer-brand maize and sunflower hybrids. The production facility is operational in time for the 2013 and 2014 seasons, supporting the increased demand for Pioneer brand maize, sunflower and oilseed rape hybrids...
