Daily average chlorine production drops in Europe for third consecutive month

Europe's production of chlorine reached 809,409 m.t. during March, with daily output averaging 26,110 m.t. according to the latest figures released by industry association Euro Chlor (Brussels) for the 27 member states of the European Union plus Norway and Switzerland. The figures mark the third monthly drop since the beginning of the year. The March average daily production was 3.6% lower than in the previous month, when it stood at 27,076 m.t., and 5.8% lower than in March 2012, when it reached 27,707 m.t.
