Regions :: Eastern Europe China to investigate imports of solar-grade polysilicon from the EU9:39 AM MDT | November 1, 2012 | Ian Young The Ministry of Commerce, PRC (Mofcom; Beijing) says it will begin an antidumping and antisubsidy investigation into imports by China of solar-grade polysilicon from the European Union (EU). The probe is due to be completed before 1 November 2013 but may be extended for 6 months, and it will focus on the 12 months from 1 July 2011. The case follows a complaint to Mofcom last September by producers of polysilicon, including LDK Solar (Xinyu, China) and China Silicon Corp. (Luoyang, China), Mofcom says.
