European food safety director resigns

The executive director of the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA; Parma, Italy), Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle, announced today that she is resigning to take up a new post as director general for agriculture, agrofood, and territorial policies in the French Ministry of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry. Geslain-Lanéelle will assume her new responsibilities on 1 September.
