Regions :: China Wacker Expands Dispersions and Resins Capacity at Nanjing2:02 AM MST | March 5, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Wacker Chemie announced today that it will spend €40 million ($52.9 million) on projects to double capacity of vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer (VAE) dispersions and build a new plant to produce polyvinyl acetate (PVAc) solid resins at its Nanjing, China complex. Wacker will add a new reactor at the existing VAE facility with capacity of 60,000 m.t./year, which will double VAE dispersions at the site to 120,000 m.t./year. The project, due for completion in mid 2013, will make the complex one of the biggest of its kind in China, the company says. Wacker...
