Wacker Constructs Powder Plant in China

Wacker-Chemie says it is building a 30,000-m.t./year spray dryer at Nanjing, China to produce the company’s Vinnapas dispersible polymer powders. The products, based on vinyl acetate and ethylene, are used in the construction industry. Wacker makes Vinnapas dispersible polymer powders as part of the company’s Wacker Polymer Systems joint venture with Air Products.
