Uhdenora awarded first energy-efficient ODC technology chlor-alkali contract

Uhdenora, a joint venture between ThyssenKrupp Electrolysis and Industrie De Nora (Milan), has signed a contract with the Befar Group to build an 80,000-m.t./year caustic soda plant at Binzhou City, Shandong Province, China. The project will be implemented in two phases with the first 40,000 m.t./year due onstream in the second half of 2015.
