Regions :: China UOP Technology Selected for Linear Alkylbenzene Plant in China12:35 AM MDT | March 23, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that its technology has been selected by Great Orient Chemical (Taicang, China) for a new complex in China that will produce linear alkylbenzene (LAB), a key ingredient for biodegradable household laundry detergents. The new complex will produce 100,000 m.t./year of LAB to support the growing demand for detergents, UOP says.
