UOP Technology Selected by Sinochem to Produce High-Purity Hydrogen

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that Sinochem (Beijing) has selected UOP technology to purify hydrogen at a new refinery of Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical, a subsidiary of Sinochem, at Quanzhou, China. Sinochem Quanzhou Petrochemical will use two UOP Polybed PSA Systems to produce high-purity hydrogen at its new refinery and the hydrogen will be used for the production of clean transportation fuels, including diesel, gasoline and jet fuel.
