Regions :: China Toyo Engineering Awarded Contract for DSM-Sinopec JV Caprolactam Plant1:12 AM MST | January 23, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Toyo Engineering (Narashino, Japan) says it has been awarded a contract by DSM Nanjing Chemical (Nanjing, China), a joint venture between DSM and Sinopec, to build a 200,000 m.t./year caprolactam plant at Nanjing, in addition to existing 200,000 m.t./year caprolactam plant at the site. DSM Nanjing Chemical will invest about $300 million in the project, which is scheduled to be completed in the third quarter of the fiscal year ending March 31, 2014, Toyo says.
