Teijin to Establish New Company in China for Fiber and Textile R&D

Teijin says it plans to establish a new company called Teijin Product Development China (Nantong, China) in August 2012, to conduct fiber and textile product research and development, beginning April 2013. Capital expenditure will be about ¥2 billion ($25 million). Teijin Product Development China will be established on the premises of Nantong Teijin Co., a Teijin subsidiary engaged in the manufacturing, dyeing, processing and selling of polyester textiles.
