Solvay Starts Production at Specialty Polymers Compounding Plant in China

Solvay says that it has started production at its specialty polymers compounding plant at Changshu, China. The plant will primarily serve the growing local demand for specialty polymers seem mostly in the electronics, automotive, consumer, and industrial application markets.  The plant will make Amodel polyphthalamide (PPA), Ixef polyacrylamide (PARA), and Kalix-modified PARA compounds.
