Sinochem and Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical to Build Phenol Acetone and BPA Plants in China

Sinochem (Beijing) says it has signed a project cooperation agreement with Jiangsu Yangnong Chemical Group (Yangzhou, China), under which the two companies will jointly construct a facility in the Yangzhou Chemical Industry Park, which will have a production capacity of 350,000 m.t./year of phenol acetone and 120,000 m.t./year of bisphenol A (BPA), by the end of 2013. No further details of the project were disclosed.
