Regions :: China Sabic and Sinopec to Explore New Business Opportunities and Joint Ventures6:14 AM MST | January 16, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Sabic says that it has signed a protocol of cooperation with Sinopec to explore new business opportunities and to confirm their commitment to earlier agreements. The cooperation agreement was signed at Riyadh in the presence of King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz of Saudi Arabia and Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao. Sabic signed a deal with Sinopec in May 2011, to build jointly a polycarbonate (PC) plant at Tianjin, China. The new plant will form part of Sinopec Sabic Tianjin Petrochemical Co.
