SK Global Chemical to Build EPDM Plant in China

SK Global Chemical, the petrochemical business of SK Innovation (Seoul), formerly SK Energy, says it will build an ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) plant at Ningbo, China. The plant will have a production capacity of 50,000 m.t./year of EPDM and it is expected to start production in 2014. SK Global is planning to work with a state-owned Chinese firm on this project.
