SI Group Adds Phenolic Resins at Nanjing

SI Group (Schenectady, NY) says it will invest $30 million to build an additional phenolic resin manufacturing unit at the Nanjing Chemical Industry Park (NCIP), slated for startup in May 2013. Initial capacity will be 30,000 m.t./year, with the potential to increase capacity to 70,000 m.t./year, SI says.
