Regions :: China Praxair to Build Large Gases Plant in China to Supply Coal Gasification Complex9:03 AM MDT | June 26, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Praxair China says it has signed a long-term supply contract with Yankuang Guohong Chemical Co., and Yankuang Group to supply industrial gases to its coal gasification process for the production of methanol and downstream chemicals at its chemical park at Zoucheng city, in northern China. Praxair, as part of the deal, will construct a large air separation facility with a capacity of 3,000 m.t./day of oxygen and buy Yankuang Guohong’s existing air separation units.
