PPG fiber glass jv starts fourth furnace in China

PPG Industries says that its PFG Fiber Glass Kunshan (Kunshan, China) joint venture with Nan Ya Plastics (Taipei, Taiwan), part of the Formosa Plastics (Taipei) group, has started a fourth furnace. With 38,000 m.t./year of capacity, the additional furnace will serve the expanding Asian electronics industries, PPG says. “The printed–circuit board industry continues to grow in Asia,” says C.F.
