PPG Signs Deals with Chinese Firm for Titanium Dioxide

PPG Industries says it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Henan Billions Chemicals (Jiaozuo City, Henan Province, China) by which PPG will license certain chloride-based technologies to Henan Billions for use at Henan Billions’ titanium dioxide (TiO2) refinement facilities in China. PPG has also signed a long-term purchase agreement for TiO2 with Henan Billions. Commercial terms of the deals and license proceeds from Henan Billions to PPG were not disclosed.
