Oxea completes specialty esters plant at Nanjing

Oxea (Oberhausen, Germany) says that its previously announced new specialty esters plant at Nanjing, China, is now mechanically complete. After 15 months of construction, the new plant is currently in the commissioning and start-up phase, Oxea says. The plant is Oxea’s first production site in Asia, will complement Oxea’s three existing specialty esters plants in Europe, and will boost Oxea’s global production capacity for specialty esters by 40%, the company says.
