Nippon Shokubai sues Chinese firms for patent infringement

Nippon Shokubai says it has filed a lawsuit in the Beijing Second Intermediate People’s Courts against two companies, Liaoning Kelong Fine Chemical Co., a Chinese producer of concrete admixtures, and another Chinese firm. Nippon Shokubai is seeking injunctions and damages for alleged infringement of its Chinese patent relating to the production process and application of polymers for concrete admixture used in the construction industry.     Nippon Shokubai says it has spent money and years on R&D in its efforts to achieve improved quality...
