Linde Signs Gas Supply Deal in China; to Invest €120 Million in the Project

Linde says it has signed an agreement to manage the entire gas supply system for steel company Hebei Puyang Iron and Steel (Wu'an, Hebei Province, China). Linde will invest about €120 million ($160 million) in the project, which covers purchase of existing air separation units (ASUs) and construction of an additional ASU. Linde acquires Hebei Puyang’s seven existing ASUs and pipeline network, will operate these and modernize them to incorporate the latest technical developments, under the terms of the deal.
