Lanxess and TSRC Open Nitrile Rubber JV Plant in China

Lanxess and TSRC Corp. (Taipei) have started up the previously announced joint venture nitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) plant at Nantong, China. The companies jointly invested $50 million to build the 50-50 jv plant, which has an initial production capacity of 30,000 m.t./year. About 100 new jobs have been created through the investment, Lanxess says.
