Ineos and Sinopec sign JV agreement for phenol- acetone project in China

Ineos Phenol and Sinopec Yangzi Petrochemical Co. (Sinopec YPC) have today signed a joint venture agreement and the Articles of Association to form a 50-50 jv company at Nanjing, China for their previously announced phenol-acetone project. The jv, which is called Ineos YPC Phenol Nanjing Co. is set to build the largest phenol-acetone plant in China, at the Nanjing Chemical Industrial Park.
