India and China Sign Agreement to Address Climate Change

The Indian Ministry of Environment and Forests (MOEF; New Delhi) says an agreement has been signed between China and India for cooperation on addressing climate change. The two countries also reaffirmed their principle of common but differentiated responsibilities, where developed countries should take the lead in and continue to reduce their greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and provide financial resources, technology transfer and capacity building support to developing countries. China and India, however, have not accepted any legally binding caps on their GHG...
