Regions :: China India Imposes Antidumping Duty on STPP from China7:15 AM MDT | September 27, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh The Indian government has imposed antidumping duties of between $0.307/kilogram and $0.671/kilogram on imports of sodium tripolyphosphate (STPP) from China, say local press reports. The antidumping duties, which were imposed following an investigation, will be effective until March 20, 2011. Domestic manufacturers including Tata Chemicals (Mumbai) complained that STPP was being dumped by China, reports add. Imports of STPP from China increased from 15,356 m.t. in 2005-2006, to 41,367 m.t. in 2008-2009, and the government found that the dumping has caused...
