Imdex Acquires Australian Chemicals Firm

Drilling products and services company Imdex (Perth, Australia) says it has signed a heads of agreement to acquire all shares in specialty chemicals firm Wildcat Chemicals Australia (Brisbane) for A$1.8 million ($1.6 million). Wildcat Chemicals manufactures, distributes and custom formulates high performance specialty chemicals including oil field chemicals, process chemicals and drilling fluids from its manufacturing and distribution facility at Narangba, north of Brisbane, Imdex says.
