Regions :: China Honeywell-Sinochem jv begins construction of HFC-245fa project in China8:01 AM MST | December 6, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Sinochem (Beijing) says that Sinochem Lantian Honeywell—a joint venture between Honeywell and Sinochem—broke ground on 26 October 2012 on the previously announced project to produce hydrofluorocarbon-245fa (HFC-245fa) at Taicang, China. HFC-245fa is a nonozone-depleting, rigid-foam blowing agent used in insulation for appliances, construction, transportation, and other applications for which maximum energy efficiency is required, Sinochem says.
