Explosion at Melamine Plant in China Kills 14

An explosion at Shandong Liaherd Chemical Industry Co.’s (Zibo, Shandong Province, China) melamine production facility at Xintai, Shandong Province on November 19, killed 14 and injured five employees, say press reports. The incident happened when workers were repairing a condenser, reports say. Four employees died immediately and 10 died later in a hospital.
