Evonik Breaks Ground on Isophorone Project at Shanghai

Evonik held a groundbreaking ceremony today for two previously announced production plants in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park (SCIP) at Caojing, China. The plants will produce isophorone and isophorone diamine. Evonik's investment in the plants will be more than €100 million ($126 million), and the construction phase is expected to last about two years, the company says.
