Evonik Breaks Ground on Hydrogen Peroxide Plant in China

Evonik Industries says it will tomorrow break ground on the previously announced hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) plant at Jilin, China. The plant will have a production capacity of 230,000 m.t./year of H2O2 and is expected to begin production in the fourth quarter of 2013. Evonik currently has a total H2O2 production capacity of 600,000 m.t./year.
