Ecolab Opens Manufacturing Plant in China

Ecolab has opened its manufacturing plant and distribution center at Taicang, China. The 546,000-sq/ft facility has 141,000 sq/ft of floor space and a capacity of 150,000 tons. The plant will produce all Ecolab products sold in China—including cleaning, sanitation, food safety, and infection prevention products for several industries—and it is expected to employ 350 people by 2017.
