Dow to Build GTE and Epoxy Resin Plant in China

Dow Chemicals’s epoxy business says it will build a glycerine-to-epichlorohydrin plant (GTE) and a liquid epoxy resins plant at Caojing, China. The GTE plant will have capacity of 150,000 m.t./year, and the liquid epoxy resins plant, 100,000 m.t./year, Dow says. Both plants are scheduled to start up by 2009-10.
