DSM agrees to acquire Chinese vitamin C producer Aland

DSM announced today that it has reached an agreement to acquire Aland HK Holding, a Hong Kong–based company producing vitamin C in mainland China. DSM had announced in April that it is in exclusive discussions to acquire Aland. Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed. Subject to customary conditions, the transaction is expected to close in the next six to nine months, DSM says.
