Chinese firm selects Dow’s Unipol polypropylene technology

Dow Chemical says it has licensed its Unipol polypropylene (PP) technology to Oriental Energy (Zhangjiagang, China) to be used in a 400,000-m.t./year PP plant at Zhangjiagang. It will be the first Dow Unipol PP unit in the eastern China coastal area, the center of the Chinese PP market, Dow says.
