China’s largest rare earth producer acquires nine rare earth mining companies

Inner Mongolia Baotou Steel Rare-Earth Hi-Tech (Baotou, China), China’s largest producer of rare earths, has acquired nine rare earth mining companies in Inner Mongolia, an autonomous region in northern China, which is home to more than half of the world’s light rare earth output.
