Regions :: China China to Tighten Regulation on Pesticides2:00 AM MDT | July 21, 2011 | Deepti Ramesh China is planning to revise its regulation on pesticides, in order to improve the safety of agricultural products, the Chinese government says. The legislative affairs office of the State Council in China yesterday published the draft of the revised regulation. The revision improves the current regulation which came into effect in 1997, in certain areas such as quality control, marketing, and the use and administrative management of pesticides, the government says.
