Regions :: China China imposes antidumping duty on two glycol solvents9:10 AM MST | January 25, 2013 | Natasha Alperowicz China has imposed antidumping duties on European and US exporters of two chemicals, the Ministry of Commerce, PRC (Mofcom; Beijing) said today. The five-year antidumping duties will apply to imports of ethylene glycol monobutyl ether and diethylene glycol monobutyl ether, widely used as solvents, with effect from 28 January. Mofcom says that investigations showed that "dumping exists" on imports of the products from the European Union and the United States. “Such dumping has caused material injury to China’s domestic...
