Chemtura has broken ground on the first facilities at its multipurpose manufacturing site in China, the company’s largest-yet investment in that growing economy. The 25-acre site is located at the Nantong Economic and Technological Development Area in Jiangsu Province. Chemtura is planning four production units equipped to manufacture products for the company’s petroleum additives and urethanes businesses.
