CPCIC: Chemtura Aims to Double Share of Sales from Asia by 2015

Live from ShanghaiThe interdependence between the basic chemicals and polymers market in China and the Mideast is expected to deepen into the specialty products industry, Saleh Al-Nazha, Chemtura aims to double its share of sales from Asia by 2015, Craig Rogerson, Chemtura chairman and CEO told attendees Friday at the China Petroleum and Chemical International Conference (CPCIC) co-organized by the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation and Chemical Week. Asia accounted for 14% of Chemtura’s sales in 2009. “By 2015, want to grow that to one-third of sales on a much bigger base or revenues,” Rogerson says....
