(CNPC; Beijing) says its Ningxia Petrochemical subsidiary started construction on July 10 on a plant with capacity for 450,000 m.t./year of ammonia and 800,000 m.t./year of urea at Yinchuan in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region, China. Ningxia Petrochemical, following completion of the project, will have annual fertilizer capacity of 3 million m.t., CNPC says.
