Regions :: China CB&I bags contract for polypropylene plant in China9:25 AM MDT | October 16, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh CB&I says that its Lummus Technology unit has been awarded a contract by Huating Coal Group for the license, basic engineering, and related services for a polypropylene (PP) plant at Huating Industrial Development Area in Gansu Province, China. The 200,000-m.t./year PP plant is expected to start up in 2014. The plant will use the Novolen advanced gas-phase polymerization technology for the production of the full scope of PP homopolymers, random copolymers, and impact copolymers.
