Regions :: China Badger to Provide Cumene Technology for Plant in China12:26 PM MDT | October 19, 2011 | Ian Young Badger Licensing has been awarded a contract by Lihuayi Weiyuan Chemical to provide technology for a 300,000-m.t./year cumene plant at Dongying, China. Badger's contract includes technology license, engineering, start-up services, and training. Cumene, a precursor to the production of phenol, has seen strong worldwide demand growth recently, particularly in China, Badger says.
