BASF, Huntsman confirm plans to double MDI capacity in China

BASF today confirmed that, together with partners, it is progressing with plans to double methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) capacity at the Caojing chemical industry park, near Shanghai. BASF’s board members first announced the plans during an investor day at London in May.
