BASF Hikes Global PolyTHF Capacity to Meet Growing Demand

BASF says it has completed expansion of its global PolyTHF capacity from 185,000 m.t./year to 250,000 m.t./year at a cost of more than €60 million ($75.2 million). The company, at the same time, modernized and enhanced the efficiency of its PolyTHF plants. PolyTHF is BASF's product name for polytetramethylene ether glycol (PTMEG).
