BASF Expands Auto Catalyst Plants in China and India

BASF Catalysts (Iselin, NJ) has announced big capacity expansions at its automotive catalyst plants at Chennai, India and Shanghai to meet growing demand for light-duty automotive catalysts. Demand growth is expected to remain strong over the next few years as a result of increasing car sales in China and India, the company says.
