Regions :: China AstraZeneca Expands in India and China12:24 PM MDT | July 26, 2007 | DR AstraZeneca says it has opened a new $15-million process and development laboratory next to its existing R&D center at Bangalore, India. The company also announced that is has chosen Shanghai’s Zhangjiang Hi-Tech park to locate its previously announced $60-million Innovation Center China (ICC), which will serve as a temporary base for the company until it decides on a permanent location. The lab is AstraZeneca’s fourth such facility and the only one outside Europe. The facility will focus on new chemical entities (NCEs), and will soon start...
